A glade in the woods, offering a space to embrace the simple life.
is a small off-grid forest cottage next to the ancient forest in Bjärka-Säby. The place has space for both couples and individuals who want to be part of building up Gunnarsbo farm.
Here, you can stay as a volunteer throughout the growing season from March to October. Mumsmålen is also a "Pilgrim's Welcome" offering simple accommodation for pilgrims and hikers along the Östgötaleden trail.

There are three bedrooms, one double room and two single rooms. Additionally, there's a shelter with space for 8-10 pilgrims or short-term guests.
It's approximately 4 km between Mumsmålen and Gunnarsbo farm and 5 km to the bus stop in Bjärka-Säby. Bicycles are available for those staying at Mumsmålen.
Right now, we are working on establishing a monastery-inspired volunteer initiative in Bjärka-Säby, which is planned to open for applicants in the fall of 2024. However, there's already an opportunity to stay at Mumsmålen and assist in setting up the operation.
